Seth’s Three Stars (2/18/21 vs. Ducks)

1.) Kaapo Kahkonen, MIN

Kaapo didn’t face a ton of shots tonight, but he was great against the shots he did have to save. The lone goal he gave up came on a filthy backhander, but things didn’t spiral out of control after that. Kahkonen had a few great saves on Ducks 2 on 1 chances. Nice work by the Wild goalie.

2.) Kevin Fiala

Fiala played with purpose all night. He was able to tap in an opportunity right in front of the Ducks net to double the early lead. He just used his speed to skate past the Ducks pretty much all night. Remember when we (kinda) worried about his lack of production early on? Fiala is starting to really heat up at a perfect time with everybody finally coming back.

3.) Ryan Hartman

Hartman played like he was frustrated by the Wild’s loss to the Kings. He took matters into his own hands to open the scoring, and led the way for the Wild to really establish the tone early in the game. I mean look at this thing:
